Jeez.. They've got a hard choice, all are wicked cars.

I'd go the Typhoon for the exact reasons above.

BF GTP

Instant torque, Instant classic, Instantly more flexible engine power on the street.

If you're gonna do strip work, go the phoon, otherwise a well modded 5.4 litre will eat it on the street every time.

quite the oppocite. the 5.4's main sticking point is the lack of low end torque.

want a quick strip car get the phoon, want an aniliatingly fast street car get the phoon.

Want a v8, get the GTP. .

me? id get a GTP

In standard trim, it may be a "little" lacking...........but as I stated in my post.........a "well modded" 5.4 will still kill it every time in point to point street warfare.

I love the GT's, but i have to admit the Phoon is the faster car, edit and injector change alone = 300rwkw and 12 second passes for the 6 speed auto.

agreed, all the FPV line up would have to be the horniest looking performance ford made : . They each have there own unique charactor that will appeal to each person. The GT falcons will appeal to V8 owners everywhere, they offer a nice bablance of performance with a tidy looking car.

The F6 however offers brutal performance at a budget and is just the most balanced Performance car out there. Sure it doesnt have the note of the V8 but its a horny sounding six with alot of poke :evilking:

I guess you're right. I distinctly remember lining up against one of these 6 million horsepower turbo monsters at Calder ( this one was a super dooper mega mumbo VL commodore..........

It went something like this.......

GO lights...........I took off..........he sat there spooling.......Into second gear..........he sat there spooling..........into third...........he catches me and we cross the line even stevens. My time card 14.3......his time card 10.01.

Bottom line............ we passed the line at the same time................ : :nutsycuck : :nutsycuck : :nutsycuck :...............still laughing about it.

Somehow I reckon that a 300 RWKW V8 would be a better drive than a 300 RWKW turbo.

Sorry.........not a real fan of the hairdryer parade.

LOL i was there, that was the funniest thing i have seen.Interesting though i have seen nearly every XR6T with big HP spooling up at the lights at the drags, personnally they should be banned from racing.Reason being it's dangerous as ESP stated he was in front by a mile and to be racing a car that has the potential to run much faster but actually behind the slower car is dangerous if the faster car looses control.

um ok.......spool time????? wtf, we arent talking dinner plate turbos here , we are talking stock turboed cars that have pretty much zero lag, If yout ime card is a 14.3 and there is STOCK F6's running 13.0's... i think your in for a shock if your actually lucky enough to get ya bum in one...YOu dont need a flame suit, Why would you, theres nuthing wrong with being a V8 man _2: Just remember its best to try something before you judge it, Also, a 300 rwkw F6 V a 300 rwkw GT the gt will get its skirt pulled off and mounted by the F6 every time. :

I'd take the GTP over and F6, but you my friend are delusional.

Any point to point race. Any circut, any rolling start, ANY test

F6 is quicker than GTP/GT

Full stop.

Whats a better car, thats debateable, whats faster, isn't.

even though i'm asking all of you and i'm thinking the typhoon, the horniest 'fpv' ever made would have to be the XY GT HO Phase III. i grew old school and will always be old school. i just wish Ford/FPV would go the V8 and make it top of the line. i have nothing against the 'turbo' but wouldn't you all love to see a real aussie powered V8 take it to and slam a turbo?

Alex i have never had to spool mine up either my XR6T or my F6 im ready and waiting when those go..... If they choise to do it for a time not a race thats there problem. Rod used to do the same BEFORE he turboed his boss.... whats the difference?
