Default factory lowered EAII

G'day fellow E-series owners!
I'm new to this site, and just wnted to ask you guys (and gals) a question:
Have you ever heard of or seen a factory lowered EAII Fairmont?
I have recentley purchased such a vehicle (EAII Fairmont with 3.9L CFI, 4-spd auto, and most of the options) and according to all the previous owners it was 'factory' lowered. I am curious too know if itt could be from the factory itself or was it done at a dealer? I know the car has been like this (low enough at the front to scrape the bumper and undercarriage on speed humps and driveways if you don't crawl over them, and lowered slightly at the rear) since it was first sold in New Zealand in 1993 (don't know if it was sold in Australia previousley) and was wondering if anyone else has a car with a simillar stance? It looks really aggressive and can outmanouver my mated 302 Clevo-powered XF, and can take it off the line (due to power-to-weight ratio) so I'm gonna leave it like it is (although the back shocks have been replaced with Monroe Gas shocks and the front will be done soon, I'm NOT gonna change the rideheight)!

Thanx to anyone who can help satisfy my curiousity.

Welcome aboard. The S models were lowered a little but nothing like what you describe. I remember the cars pictured in the brochure were pretty darn low so obviously Ford had a trick up their sleeve. But this will be the first I've heard of it.

First I have heard of it, S-pacs were a little lower, but no EA's ever sat on the ground from the factory.

Trouty is rebuilding an ea series 1, to have an AU motor, swap from 3 speed to 4 speed auto, and throw in a turbo on top of all that.
