I think the International airshow is on again on the weekend after this, is anybody going ?, I was thinking of going as I have not been yet and wish to go one day, it's a bit expensive though, $40 per adult.

Just seeing the F 18 Hornet flying over the Grand Prix was fantastic,what awesome power these Fighter planes have,i could watch them all day.

I went the last time it was on...100th anniversary. You ain't seen sheer Hp till you see these aircraft being suspended in the sky under thier own thrust....mind blowing I say. In my opinion...it's worth $40+, but it's a big day out!!!!! Regards AGRO |

Its a fantastic show, I used to go all the time but now that I drive, there is no way I am putting up with that traffic! Its a bloody joke.

Haven't been for years now, flew down with a mate back in 1999 I think.
It was great though, nothing like feeling the heat wave as an F-111 does a dump and burn. |

Though I'll be in Melbourne this weekend unfortunately I won't be able to make it.
I always try and make it to the Warbirds over Wanaka show in New Zealand though. I would rate it as the best in the Southern Hemisphere. I always try to attend airshows when I travel. I won't get the chance next month as I'm trying to save money.
