I bought a gpsguider for $169 at strathfield today but just a few questions... 1 how are you supposed to download the new update when they give you a link cable but no dc adapter to give it power???? 2 are you meant to do anything to get it to pick up the speed cameras/red light cameras?? cause i have it switched to camera detection and have it digitaly reading my speedo but i whent through 1 speed camera and it didnt say so im just puzzled so any help would be appriciated.

you get what you pay for.
I have a cheap scanner and a expensive one. the expensive one gets to about 100km range and the cheap one only 30.

whent and got a adapter from dick smith updated it and its working like a treat now picking up speed cameras 500meters before and red light cameras 200meters and the digital speedo is indicating my speedo is out by 5kz which i thought it was out by 10km by testing it next to a nother car but yeah im rapt now.
