I just did that but had the reverse problem, (My car was on factory gas but the new ECU wasnt).
I was told the original ecu can be flashed to run smooth as a manual, but Ive also heard roumers of rough idles when this is done I was under the impression that factory dedicated gas wasn't about till the BA's (I'm sure someone will correct me if im wrong)............ so IF the ECU is a factory dual fuel EGAS ECU then it can be used to run your car (as far as im aware) - it will just make it that much easier to put gas on your car if you decide to save some fuel dollars later on

Your all wrong E-Gas came out in series 2
Series one models were dual fuel fitted by Tickford not proper e-gas models. As for the solution to your ECU problem, i would love to know, id imagine youd have to get the ECU reflashed, because nothing exist off the shelf for manual+lpg.

so if the car the box is comming outa is aftermarket dedicated gas your sweet, if its factory dual fuel but injectors have been disconected, your sweet too. I think! just to clarify cookie, is your car currently petrol or dual fuel? and if its dual fuel is it factory gas or aftermarket?

Shame I didn't know anything about converters before the second mob replaced it! Oh well, live and learn, much better than live and staying ignorant! LOL! In any case, I've booked it in to get the balance pipe fitted, will cost me around $160 with another dyno full gas tune. That should sort it properly. GK

You will need to wire up a small circuit for the reversing lights. The idle speed may need to be adjusted somewhat.
The Auto ECU will work, with some slight modifications, but it would be easier to find a Manual ECU, which you can do, if you hunt around.

You need to re-solder a couple of pinouts on the ECU I believe. Then wire up the reversing lights to engage.
I don't think I have the information about it.
