what other option is there? if you need heavy duty, then go for it - if you can wait 12 months, there will be a twin turbo 6.4 V8 diesel 260kw, 880Nm and a 6 speed auto - if you can't wait 12 months hurry up and buy a 7.3, not many dealers have stock left, and they wont be getting any more.

heres a few pics and some info, due out in the US in 2007, I am sure sales have been strong enough here for Ford Australia to demand it here.

The engine is sourced from International (again) Navistar Powerstroke branding

There is also talk that the F150 will get a British-built 4.4L version of the 3.6L TDV8 in the upcoming Range Rover (around 230kw/700Nm)

We could only hope we get that here also. When you see engines like that on their way, you no longer wonder why Ford axed the Hurricane 6.2L petrol V8 engine

Do you know of any dealers with a 7.3 Turbo? As I have a mate looking for one and local dealer said none available, will have to wait for new model?
