G'day fellas.
I'm looking to lower my car from stock height to king low at front and superlows at back once i finish yr12 so i decided to have a looksy at what sort of clearance i have now. ATM my cat is sitting about 105mm from the ground : so i was wondering how much roughly it costs to get the exhaust and cat brought up closer to the body and if all exhaust shops will do this? Any other input appreciated. Thanks guys.

if your car is sitting at 105mm off the ground now, that is lowest legal limit, 100mm being 10cm. and if you say it is stock hieght i think theres a mix up somewhere, unless your talking about your exhuast is 105mm off the ground. carrum downs exhaust lifted mine up, i think most places would do it

Yeah sorry mate, the cat/exhaust is the lowest point being 105mm at the moment.
Any idea how much it cost if you don't mind me asking.

Probably $100-200 to modify the exhaust to sit higher.
Why the hell is your exhaust sitting so low if your car is at stock height?

at stock height your car should look like a 4WD!! i'd measure again mate coz 105mm sounds rediculously low for a stocker unless your shocks have collasped

The guy i bought it off said he hadn't changed the spring length or to different springs but i did always think it looked a little lower.
Could it maybe be on xr springs, its not really much lower if it is? ill have to have a look when i get a chance, still would look much better lower though :sm_headba cheers
