Hi,
Recently just repaired an AUS2 Tradesman ute, the fuse's were screwed and the front of the motor ******, so we put an AUS1 motor in, and changed it to an AU S1 Loom, keeping the S2 ECU. Now it wont start via the key, it will start if run a wire from the relay to positive but yeah. Any Ideas? |

You need to get the ECU coded to the new BEM. Only Ford can do this.

Is this even with the orginal ECU out of the car before the motor swap and the same key and BEM?
Basically we swapped motors and the loom, nothing else |

But because of build dates etc...,
isn't it illegal to put an older motor, in a newer car?
