It a custom EX360 Ibanez / with a fully scalloped wizard neck ( was made back in about 1983 ) .... yes it does have a tremelo , except i didn't have it screwed in for this song , allthough i should of .

I recently ordered a new chrome floyd-rose tremelo from the states on ebay , and some new chrome knobs and pickup sourounds , and also a secondhand IBZUSAF1 pickup (Old nowerdays , still sounds good though imo), the old hardware was getting rusty from sweat of the hands over the years etc etc. It could also do with a fret file , has heaps of worn goves in the frets from over the years..cheers .

Not bad at all mate, nice and smooth and all the notes seemed to be great

No Paul Gilbert stuff is easy!

Try this Steve Vai song out called Bad Horsie.... I have completely forgotten it now as I learnt it over 10 years ago and hardly played it since, this guy has some weird stuff but this is one of the better ones

Thanks mate , yeah i loved his stuff from Racer-X and Mr. Big
, i like all sorts of mad solo stuff , i'll post an original soon that you can barelly see my fingers they moving so fast ! .. hehehe :

Some of my other influences are, Yngwie Malmsteen , Ritchie Kotzens , Joe Satriani , Steve Vai , and i also like to mellow out now and then and play stuff like the good old guns'n'roses and skidrow / extreme , even as mellow as pink floyd / mike oldfield etc etc , im into all sorts , hendrix , / led zeppelin ,etc etc , anything with some decent guitar work , im not much for rap or hip hop ... what area are you in , if local then yeah we should jam ;) , would be fun . cheers.

good stuff. I like it! Ibanez guitars are my favorite too - got 2 of them myself.

Im a bass man though, my basses are 5 strings and Im about to get a 6 string bass which I am really looking forward to. Wouldn't mind getting into lead guitar though, I've had a play around and can bluff my way through most of Kirk Hammett's stuff on S&M.....

Ty , I used to use a 1969 gold edition 100watt valve marshall head with custom quadys, last effect unit i had years ago to was the ME5. Sold it all about 10 years ago though (kept my guitars though) after finishing up with bands for a while. Still spewing to this day though that i sold the golde edition marshall head though :( .

I gotta get a new amp soon, all i have been using latelly is my guitar plugged into the mic / pc running 'fxbox' ( nice effects program ! ), and running it out of my stereo ..lol

Ty , yeah Ibanez guitars rock, the older Hammer and Charvelle guitars are nice too / fender im still um and ahhh , the only decent fender i have played was the Eric Clapton series fender, released way back in the late 80's. I've only ever had a go of 1 ibanez bass , but gee it was nice to play and sounded so crisp when slapping etc , was awesome .

cheers all.

I had a break for about 4 years and 2 years ago I started to get back into it.But the same as you I had sold most of my stuff(and spent the money on my car). The only guitar I kept was this Ibanez that I put together it was an old rg140 body that I put a jem neck on . When I started back up I was running my guitar through my boss me10(that I had from new)into a 30 year old stereo so I know how you feel. Now I have a Jackson dkmg ,a fully modded ADAmp1 pre amp that goes through a graphic then into a Marshall 50 watt power amp then into a Peavy 5150 quad box. It sounds a bit better than the old stereo lol.
Pitty you sold the Marshall , have you seen how much they want for a good valve amp these days.

Awesome mate!

Funny the song I had playing on my iTunes when i spotted the thread was "I'm not afraid of the Police" by Paul Gilbert! :O

Looking at your taste in shredders, do you like Michael Romeo from Symphony X? he's my fav.
