is there anything supporting it or does it just 'flop' around. You might wanna look at concieling the pod somehow to stop it sucking in the hit temps in the engine bay, especially with this hot summer coming up.

Well its a great idea, but it is illegal to run an air filter not boxed, just so you know.

WOAH SIKK!
Whilst the sound it makes may sound bit better, your car is going to run like **** compared to before. Fit a longer pipe to the intake manifold and have it mounted in your front bar.
Heed the advice given by a fellow L-Plater lol.

well it just "flops" around at the moment but its sitting in there tight so there is minimal "floppage" looking at makin brackets to secure it.

why not put the top half of the box (the bit with the snorkel) back on and get extensions to bolt it down somewhere, at least for the time being, that way at least there will be air flow to it!

get some of those offset xr bonnet scoops, the ones that look like finger drags...then run a flat sheet of metal across the side of the engine bay to conceal the area the scoop and pod is in, dunno how it would look with one scoop tho, id go one on each side...
