It's secured in a Ghia5L Approved Hobo Way <tm>. I cut some of the back of the h/u surround out (I'm talking about that slot below the h/u), and used two of the four cupholder mounting points to secure it from behind (well, from the sides, behind the fascia). I needed washers to do this as the screws on their own didn't have enough "pinch".

Due to my h/u protruding roughly 15mm from the face of the surround, the cupholders can't hold a longneck or (presumably) a large Maccas cup. It'll hold 375ml cans and stubbies, and skinny V/Red Bull cans ;)

They're from a Bluebird. $170 thru Nissan Spare Parts, or $25 from ebay (one-off only!)

Meanwhile "J" and "L" will serve us ice cold beers...

Olympus: interesting! I wonder if Nissan charge a different price for SSS cupholders vs Bluebird :P

Walky: pffft FUIC is still for the Mrs to hold. Or to sit on the console lid.

Wouldn't suprise me, they quoted me $1100 for a new dizzy. I've seen dizzies on ebay USA for $200.
