They both have their good and bad points, depends what you're after in life. A falcon is a car which can be practical later in life, as well as fast. A skyline is only fast.

How about some more info on your falcon, and what kind of skyline you are after...
GTS-T GT-R? R31/32/33/34?

if i rememer correctly you have just spent a fair bit on 2 sets or rims (octanes + Xr's) and now you want to sell it. IMO keep your falcon. up 2 you, think about it.

hmmm I say give the skyline a go. Get either a R32 GTS-T which are quite nice, or a GTR. You can pick up GTS-T's at pretty good prices.
My mate had one with some mods and it put out 150rwkw, and man it was quick on boost. Off boost though it was gutless. Was tempted to buy it but wasnt practical for my family. Have you driven a turbo'd skyline before?

What the................
The only one that can make that decision is you mate. But if you like being pulled over and hassled all the time by the police then go for the Skyline lol

Thaught of upgrading to a newer Falcon? BA XTs are a good buy, drove one around for stocktake(Previous job), very good package, specialy when you can still do mods and make it fast, it will always have a better feel than a skyline on the road i beleive. And how many coppas would pull over a XT compared to a Skyline ? lol

This may shock some people but skylines ***** all over the falcons in every way. Power, handling, braking and general "feel" is way above the old falcs.
Definitely go for a few test drives and feel the difference in early 90s jap and aussie cars. Then sell your car to buy a skyline. The only reason you would go for a falcon is if passenger or boot space is high on your list of priorites. And maybey towing. |
