Isn't 383 usually the (less common than 355) displacement of a stroked holden 5L? Maybe thats not what the plates are referring to I know, but still...

You are thinking of a stroked 350 Chev small block, IIRC the 5L Holden engine can only go out as far as 355.

C.O.M.E. racing do offer 383 stroker kits to suit the holden 5L's, however you are correct the 383 is more commonly a stroked 350 Chev small block, my bad ;)

Pffffft why would you bother stroking a 350 to 383?

Us Chrysler Boys have a complete stroker kit for the 318 to 390 for $2,500

And yeah opps BOOSTDEF's is a EF or EL..............just looked at the colour lol

This could be referring to a Cleveland also, as a 383 is the stroked version of a 302/351. Come on guys, you should know this!!

Maybe his old car was running this type of engine in it, as the EB-ED of course run Windsor V8s and 'USUALLY' only get the 347 Stroke.

This car impresses me!
