Ummm... and I don't know if it's me or not, but in some pics, it looks like the dash is grey and the part around the T-Bar is white.
My opinion, whatever tickles your fancy.

In my opinion if you really want it painted, keep it not to contrasting. Go for black if you like it painted, and LOSE THE CHECKERPLATE!! Also, with the clear tail lights, extend it to the rear garnish to to keep it even. Apart from that, good on ya for trying to be unique ;)

The clear tail lights look good when ONLY the indicator section is done. Removing the red reflector from the tail lights ruins it as it doesnt match with garnish.
Regarding the interior loose the checkerplate and everything that you painted white, paint it black.

actualy sorry, you have an EB/D fairmont rear garnish. DONT PUT CLEAR TAIL LIGHTS on EB/D fairmont garnished cars. The lights are perfect as they match the garnish. Clear tail lights only work on EA's or EB/D's with non fairmont garnish.

Ummm, I actually think that would look alright if you painted the rest of the dashboard/glovebox/console etc in a glossy black color, to contrast with the white. You'd end up having to change the color of the dials/instrument cluster too, to a darker shade of black or something with non-orange markings. A new 4 spoke cruise-control steering wheel (EB XR???) in a matching shade of black would then complete it.
Then again you could have left it standard which would be my preference, but it's not my car ;) At least the job you've done spraying looks good, i've seen it go horribly wrong before LOL.

go to the wreckers and get yourself some new taillights and interior bits that you have made a mess of and throwout the checkerplate.. then it will look alright again

Put the Red Reflector back into the Tailight as without it its illegal.
Ive seen alot of people paint the interior bits like you have, looks ALOT better IMO when people put a large clear coat on them, Looks more glossy and more professional. Each to there own with the floormats

I reckon it looks quite nice, it sure freshens up a very dull interior.
Perhaps you should get a white steeringwheel as a nice addition. |
