Default finaly the eb gets some love

well its about time honestly, start of my apperentiship i started to fix some dings in the car and only starting in a few days i need the car pronto, so i couldnt paint it but just left it in primer with a clear over it, smooth again but just looked shocking, thank god the cars white :P

finaly i have a week off and its a prity simple job to get her painted (a week and a bit really)

plan is get it cleaned sand the primer, new bonnet (from previous accident from previous owner), guard to be replaced (stupit ea guard) as well goin to take all of the trims off on the exterior, i had previously planned to make it all smooth and fill up all them bits where the trim goes in place but well save that for another time ( or if we get enought time ), ef/l mirrors hoping to find some of the ones with the chrome strip on them, if anyone has got some pm me a price, need new bumper aswell unless we can get around fixing the bracket on it, well the list goes on alot of things i want to get done so i can take it to the car wash and say "you deserve a wash" instead of " you ugly whore, clean yourself!"

ill keep yas updated, wish me luck

(if this isnt the right area for posting this please feel free to move it)

Sounds great Joe. Nothing like a fresh paint job to make a car stand out.

Keep us updated with progress pics as well.

I might try to get the front of my car done at some stage (I'll replace the damaged bonnet and radiator support first, plus get a better bumper) so I'll probably get a quote at some stage in the future. I've decided I'll keep the EA going, I've spent too much on it.

another day, and another day of progress, just came inside, boot is prity much ready to go as well as the rear left hand door and quarter, had to rebog some parts as theyve ethir cracked or just were way to low for our liking, and suprise suprise more dings to fill, lookin foward to the numberplates "EBOGE6" :S still from how smooth its coming up, its going to look very shiny and streight when its done, this is not your ordinary back yard job...

ill post pictures later

those arnt my rims ethir, still sitting there from when EDXR6T busted them at G0R, if only they were mine thow, i wouldnt be bothering with a paint job

dosent look like much was done today but we got a fair bit done really, im only really concentrating on the car atm to get it all ready, bumpers and other junk can be done on a weekend

im learning alot about this at the same time but feel free to ask questions if you have any...quotes for painting cars thow: you have to bring it to use cause we cant quote over the internet
