Figured it was easier to ask here
Mate is trying to find a replacement AU2 Fairlane mirror for his old mans car. Only ones he can find are AU/BA Forte/futura etc etc.. nothing specific tot he fairlaine ? Are they all the same or is there something specific he needs to look out for ? Cheers Chris

they are the same.
just the fairlane had body coloured mirror scalps.

They are all the same, only differences are the scalps (which are removable) usually get painted for high series vehicles.

Rotate each mirror fully side to side (two sides each, and you can gently push them a little more) and inside you can see the clips holding the plastic scalp on. You can use a screwdriver to pop them out. Be careful not to scratch the mirror glass!

about 110 for the pair i think from ford for the chrome item
i knew i had it right for some model of car LOL... i remember doing it on my NA lane

Ford here in Brisbane wanted ~$80 each for the chrome scalps, but I've seen them around for closer to the 100 mark. Cost price is around 60 if you know someone in the game.
