Default Quickest auto n/a 6 e-series?

Hopefully its a quick and easy question. Sorry but i cant be bothered going through the 1/4 register and going to individual cars to see if auto or manual.

I need a time for a goal to beat

not too sure. however i belive Walkinshaw has run a very good time with his ef or el which is auto. i believe hes into the 14's. someone correct me if im wrong.

im hoping to run mine within the coming weeks.

yeh, anything in the 14's i'll be happy. but im not holding my breath.

im taking it to the 18th drags in warnamboll(spelling) in a few weeks. then to calder one friday nite after that.

I believe this is the quickest E-series N/A 6 auto to date.

Nah wasn't Walkinshaw mate. His username is EL Ghia. You know that blue one with the 19s and Venom front bar?

As for your car, not really sure. Probably similar to the above time I would imagine. My Ghia V8 runs 14.8 and I reckon you would be putting down a fair bit more power than me. Only one way to find out though... ;)

EDIT: Didn't realise you had a stall and 4.11s. In that case I reckon you'd be well into the 14s

The bar is not set that high then compared to manuals. There not slow though!

I think Mr 4.0 will be quicker than the chubby ghia.

Why have you got the 2222549 and not 2222543 with headwork and chip torque Mr 4.0???

With a bit of luck it will be nice and quick. Its certainly a challange to get a slushbox to go quick down the qtr. best of luck!!!

well, ill b running my fairlane soon down the 1/4......got 160rwkw wit 4.11 gears...ill update when ive gone.....being tunedthis week at JMM..hopefully ill b at calder by the end of the month...and its an auto...

1/4 mile doesnt lie. Interesting to see how the fairline goes.

I will be running at willowbank next wednesday with stock cam auto xr6. For once i hope the rain stops!

dont worry about dyno figures... qtr mph could be a decent indication of HP. There are guys with more HP, and faster qtr trap speeds than me, but ....
I AM THE FASTEST!!! MUHAHAH!!!

What diff ratio have you got TUFFNC? 3.27? I thought power runs were done in 1:1 ratio being 3rd for the auto?

Just get her down the 1/4 anyway

Well I think Mr4.0 will hit a 15 flat or a high 14
and thats as it stands now.
it pulls like a freight train right to 5.5rpm and would still keep going if it could
and power wise if it dont have 135 - 140 there is something wrong with it.

my el has run a 15.46 1/4 mile stock except exhaust i6 n/a 4 spd auto

now im looking at going quicker with it

no real work done since an oil chainge or 2 maybe

Brendons red EB is manual and has run a 13.3 NA, hus I don't htink he has run his off the gas with his new setup, but previous best was 13.9 and that was with a manual.
