Default Need ECU for series 1 XR8

A mate of mine just bought a venom red AU XR8 S1 from an auction house
( for the purpose of a rebuild) but they had stripped it of its badges and ECU. Despite the auction houses' assurance that they will get him another ECU it appears this is unlikely. He has tried all the local wreckers including Ferntree Gully salvage but without luck. He lives in Wantirna South Victoria.

Do any of you have one he could buy or know of where he could get one? Ford is not an option due to excessive cost.

THX guys.

Your probably right, very dishonest of the auction house to remove the ECU.
