Hey All,
Just playing around with ideas and I though of this, Graft a BF Force 6/8 front bar onto an AU XR front bar. Use the Force 6/8 side skirts and shorten to fit an AU. Graft a BF or BA GT rear bar to an Au XR6 rear bar. I know that a lot of work would need to be done to get the front and rear bars to fit. But I recon it would look nice. This would all be in red with a matching pair of 18" kaotics in shadow chrome or 19" kaotics in black. Thoughts? |

I was thinking of getting an xr50 front bar, but grafting a ts50 grille to it. Don't know if it would work, but if so it'd be different

Force bar is a BF GT and Typhoon fron't bar, so you wouldn't need a force specific front bar

Adam has (Falkeen) - that's how the XR50 bar was created. Took him months. Chief has also done it for a rear bar - same story - took months, and so much bog in it that it's way heavier than an all glass or all plastic bar. To do it properly, you would need to create the amalgamated bar, then get it moulded, and create a fibreglass bar from the mould. Expensive.

your best bet would be to buy an XR50 front bar, and a F6/GT front/rear bars from fibresports, because Fibreglass grafts together better than glass-plastic....
then make the mould out of fibreglass i think. and make some dosh

Yer I will be looking at puting in around 5 to 6 grand to this, so does anyone have any suggestions for moulds? so far a fiber glass mould looks like the way to go.
This won't be a quick project (weekends and days off) I will be doing this properly so I won't be seeing result for atleast 2 or 3 months. |

maybe send a PM to FalKeen. considering he worked for AWC, he had plenty of experience making moulds, and working with fibreglass.
moreso than any of us backyard mechanics :P
