I got owned. :(
Mum and Dad got a new rear bar for their AU2 Fairmont, due to some poor driving of a lady trying to park. Score, cause it had a few dents and scratches in it. 2 days after new bar installed, mum backs it into a fire hydrant at my grandparents new unit and puts a big dent and scratch in it. I laughed. And laughed. And laughed some more... Today, my car, same parking spot (unknown to me at the time), and i back out, alls clear until WACK! I'd hit the same damn fire hydrant, and done exactly the same damage to my car! Doh! Karma's a *****. Am gonna complain to the retirement village offending hydrant is in, as u simply cannot see it from car and it protrudes into lane. Not expecting they'll do anything about it tho.... So....if anyone wants to sell either an Moonsoon or Organza rear bar, we're in the market.... Or any tips for covering the marks?? I've tried touch up paint, but its looking pretty poor still.... Cheers |
