Did anyone see a EA for auction on ebay with this kit? I will try and find the link. It was gold with a V8 conversion.
I wanted to see it last weekend but too much on its located down at wonthaggi. Also I called him the owner said he bought it off a mate who had got it off the original owner. It has TSS badges on it....would love to find out if it was done by the same guys as the supercharged 6 or just an EA with a body kit. So did anyone else see it????

Ok well here are those pics I took of the one in geelong, excuse the dodgey camera phone quality. I think it wasn't the real deal, just the spoiler. I was laughing to much and didn't pay attention, I thought it was just bogan spec.
Mate, if you dont buy this car send me the details, Ill sel my EL in a flash. Also just a note, if anyone else knows of any other cars like this then PM me; Im officially jumping on the bandwagon!

I never, and I mean NEVER, find anything good on ebay and now all of a sudden awesome EA pop up left right and center. If that was converted from a S/C 6 then that guy needs his head kicked in. It looks pretty cool other than the colour! Maybe this company did V8 conversions for EA's aswell??? :sm_headba

I like the kit minus the wing of course, the front bar would look good with a big front mount sitting behind it _2:

Jared (oneredED) is turning the wheels so hopefully should be picking it up soon.
Whats interesting is the design of the intake which allows for a decent front mount to be used which is usually impossible with PD blowers. |

I haven't heard anything else about it since we went and saw it, so it may still be available, although I vaguely remember its owner saying he knew somewhere he could offload it if we didn't buy it, so I don't know. onereded would be the man most likely to have an answer! You looking for a new project john???

Hmmm, I missed this thread first time around.
I recall Modern MOTOR (the magazine) building the first one of these with Mobil (the oil company) money. Sprintex did much of the engineering. There car was known as the Mobil 1 Falcon S and was owned and used by the then editor Barry Lake as his personal transport for a number of years with occasional articles appearing on it's performance and upkeep. It must have been around 1988/9. You should find it amongst these; 1988 issues => http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Modern-Motor-...QQcmdZViewItem 1989 issues => http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Modern-Motor-...QQcmdZViewItem Note the reference to the car on the front page on the magazine on the left in a comparison with HSV's first non V8, the SV3800. Even though that appears to be a pic of a Brock Falcon? The car was red and carried MOBIL1 plates ;)

I have no idea what happened to the car, but I can find out if you're interested John. Last I heard a bloke offered him I think (hazy memory now sorry) $3000 just for the blower setup to adapt onto an AU. I'm not sure if it went ahead or not, but the owner was more than willing to part the car out :S

If you dont insult him on your first offer then your not trying hard enough. ring him up and offer him 3k cash if he accepts the offer immediately, tell him he will have a hard time selling something like that. dont act too interested otherwise he wont be open to bartering as much.

the AJR's were built like all the other special cars... with a list of check boxes.
I've seen one AJR EF Futura. had full AJR kit, 16" signitures and that was it. interior and motor was standard stuff.
